Göttweig Suite 22

Suite 22
May 15, 2017
I am sorry to say that my usually great enthusiasm for this repertoire has failed me when I came to this Suite.
There are a couple things that deter me. The first is the accordatura, in g, but with an e natural. This makes the passages in the bass clef, which is in real notation, hard for me to read. I also don't see that the composer has made imaginative use of the odd tuning.
There are a number of parallel 5ths and octaves between the bass and the solo line, which I find discouraging.
If someone has the time and energy to look this work over and create some critical notes for it, I would be glad to post them here for all to share.
