Suite, or Sonatina? VI

Feb. 6th, 2017

Sonatina Adagio ( Adagio in Basso part only) Is it possible that the composer thought of the entire work as a Sonatina?

Bar 15 basso, In the manuscript the final note is tied to the next bar.

Bar 21 vda In the manuscript the first 8th note is an open top string d’’

Bar 26 vda In the manuscript the final f’ is doubled by the 3rd finger on the 4th string.

Pastorello

The edition gives Saltarello. However, both the B and the P start with a big stroke to the left, which is not part of making an S in this style of writing. See for yourself:

(update May 14 2017: The expert handwriting Staff member at Archive Göttweig confirms this word is Pastorello.)

Bar 2 vda In the manuscript the 3rd beat is slurred.

Bar 5 vda the slur could be added to beat 1
