Sonatina Adagio ( Adagio in Basso part only)
Bar 15 basso, In the manuscript the final note is tied to the next bar.
Bar 21 vda In the manuscript the first 8th note is an open top string d’’
Bar 26 vda In the manuscript the final f’ is doubled by the 3rd finger on the 4th string.
The edition gives Saltarello. However, both the B and the P start with a big stroke to the left, which is not part of making an S in this style of writing. See for yourself:
Bar 2 vda In the manuscript the 3rd beat is slurred.
Bar 5 vda the slur could be added to beat 1
Bar 11 vda the delightful 9 8 suspension from bar 3 could be added.
Bar 15 vda In the manuscript beat 1 is f’, but g’ would also work.
Bar 6 vda. the player might consider tying the half note over the bar, as it is in the bass.
Rondeau This is how it is spelled in the HS, in addition, the ends of movements where there are da segno are marked “fin” rather than ‘fine.’
Bar 41 vda in the manuscript the first note is an open top string, d’’.
Bar 44 vda In the manuscript the lower voice is not a rest, but an 8th note c’’.
Bar 45 vda In the manuscript the upper voice is 8th note eb, quarter note eb.
bar 17 vda beat 2 in the manuscript the middle note of the double stop is a sounding c’’.
Bar 1 vda in the manuscript the final note is g’, also in bar 9. the performer may wish to consider changing the bass note instead of the vda.
bar 5 vda in the manuscript notes 3 and 4 are e’ and c’
Bar 11 vda in the manuscript beat 1 is slurred.
Bar 13 vda in the manuscript 8th notes slurred by 3 for 3 beats. Beat 2 might well start with a c#.
Bar 21 vda in the manuscript the first note is open top string d’’
bar 22 vda. beat 1 is omitted from the manuscript. The player should suit herself.
bar 27 vda I suggest changing the last note to an e’’.
